African Port

Welcome to the wild side in this African jungle town. Deep in the rainforests, you will find adventure, excitement, and entertainment like no other. Let out a proud roar or swing through the trees, but don't be surprised if something crazy happens.

Crossing the bridge from Mystic Point, you are immersed in an African village. African Drummers play occasionally around this place. Up north is where you can watch the Festival of the Lion King. and nearby you can find the restaurant Hakuna Matata. To the south of the land is the Curious Giraffe Store. Then, as you keep walking, you'll come across Congo River Rapids, a wild water ride. The ride exits into Jambo River Gifts.
To the west side of the land is a jungle outpost. Kilomanjaro Kitchen serves as the major restaurant here. Up north is Grand Disneysea's most thrilling attraction, Tarzan: Call of the Wild, a roller coaster where it feels like you are swinging through the trees with Tarzan. The ride exits into a gift shop, Professor Porter's Expedition Essentials. In the southwest part of the area is a bridge to London Docks.

This was a bit of a bump. So once I started working on it, things came easily, but beforehand, things were pretty hard. I was originally going to include an Indiana Jones Adventure here, but I could not find any African ruins that didn't have Christian, Muslim, or Egyptian influence or where no ruins-y enough for Indiana Jones. I instead moved Indiana Jones to World of Wonders and replaced where the ride was going to be in Grand Disneysea with Tarzan.

  1. This is so fun! I really want to ride the Tarzan coaster!! It might be fun to have some lion king inspired dishes on the menu (think something like Grubs that are mini sausages or something).
