Chinese Bay

In the depths of an ancient valley is a mysterious Chinese village. This place mixes old and new customs into a magical place where you can see the Chinese world for yourself. Take part in many adventures, including a journey with one of the mightiest warriors in Chinese history, Fa Mulan.

Coming in from Progress City, you will find the Panda Gift Cart on your left, as well as a recreation of the Forbidden City palace where you can watch Tai Chaing, a Chinese performance of the country's culture with no Communist influence whatsoever. On the right, you will go through a gate into the village. On the right, you shall find the Nine Dragons Restaurant. On the left, you will find Mulan: A Tale of Many, a dark ride based on the animated film. In front of you is a recreation of the Temple of Heaven, where you can ride Imperial Carousel. Next to that is a drop ride, Mushu's Floating Lanterns. Around that area is Beijing Traders, Middle Kingdom Kitchen, Wandering Moon Teahouse, and Mongol House.
Near the entrance to Volcanic Isle you will find Passage of the Twelve Friends, two walls where you can find Chinese Zodiac murals represented by Disney Characters. Near Mulan is where you can take part in Tai Chi. Also near Mulan, you can find Cri-kee's Lucky Spot and General Shang's Military Outpost. You can also find the sign-up for Wilderness Explorers around here.

I know I didn't put too much into this area, but that's fine. All I wanted was another family area for people of all ages to enjoy. Plus, this king of tribute Chinese culture, which I'm sure our friends across the seas would like (although I don't know anyone from China.) To be honest, this area was a little easier to make than the Asian Gulf of Adventure World in Disneytopia, although I feel like I might've been a little lazy with this.

  1. I appreciate the Chinese culture here. It sounds like it’ll be beautiful! I feel like you have just the right balance of rides, entertainment, activities, dining, and shopping.
