Lights, Camera, Action! Welcome to a world where you are the star of the show and your favorite movies, television shows, and more come to life. Welcome to Disney Studios, where you are put in the center of the action and anything can happen, even the unexpected. In numerous areas, you can explore the magic of the movies.

Areas to explore:

  • Hollywood Boulevard
  • Muppet Studio (Muppets)
  • Mickey's Toontown (Mickey Mouse)
  • Pandora--The World of Avatar (Avatar)
  • Old Los Angeles (Walt Disney)
  • Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge (Star Wars)
  • Pixar Place (Pixar)
  • Film Backlot (Film productions)
This is something totally new. So it has the same feel as Disney's Hollywood Studios and Walt Disney Studios, but nothing like all of this have ever been put together before. If you're wondering why there are parenthesis next to some areas, well, it's because I split this into multiple studios. All of the parts have one area. Galaxy's Edge is one of two Star Wars-themed areas in the Grand Disney Resort with the other being Star Wars Spaceport at Disney's World of Wonder.

All of the universe's most powerful superheroes come together in this one area. Film Backlot

  Ever wondered what it is like to be a part of film production? Well, here is where you can go behind the scenes of movies, or watch as movies, television shows, and stage productions come to life. Not just do you get to take a peek behind the sets, but you get to join in on the entertainment universe itself. When you enter in from Hollywood Boulevard, you go into a studio. On the left, you can eat at the Backlot Bistrot, which contains six different dining rooms themed to live-action productions. On the right, you can go to the Hollywood and Vine. Up ahead where the road splits, you can hop on a tram for the Studio Backlot Tram Tour, where you tour a film backlot and see recreated sets from Pirates of the Caribbean, Mary Poppins Returns, the live-action remakes of Beauty and the Beast, Alice in Wonderland, and Aladdin, and more.
