Fantasyland
Come, all you dreamers, princesses, and knights, to a world where fantasy becomes reality. In this land, you can live through the adventures of all your favorite stories, rather it be classic fairytales or new classic stories. This is the largest area of the park with three bridges from the Castle Gardens, several attractions, and many wonderful and magical experiences!
Coming in from the north bridge, you are immersed in a Bavarian Village. In the center of the village is a fountain recreating Mickey Mouse as the Sorcerer's Apprentice. On the left side is the Princess Place, where you can meet Disney Princesses, either Cinderella, Snow White, and Aurora or Belle, Tiana, and Rapunzel. On the right is Fantasy Faire Theater, where you can watch a live show of a princess tale. Behind the statue is Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, a longer version of the Shanghai counterpart of the theater. On the right side of the village is where you can ride Aurora's Magical Tale, an original dark ride going through the tale of Sleeping Beauty, which exits into Three Good Fairies House and Cinderella Cafe. On the left side is where you can ride Peter Pan's Flight where you ride through the events of the film Peter Pan. Neverland Necessities Shop is what you exit into when you get off the ride. Pinocchio Village Kitchen is a restaurant nearby. Up near the border with Discoveryland is Brave Little Tailor Store and Merlin's Swings, which allows you to fly on swings. "It's a Small World" is also located in the area, taking up a building to the northwest of Pinocchio Village Kitchen. Around Small World is Pixie Hollow and Hook's Swinging Galleon, which are found from the northwest bridge.
To the west of the village is a Winnie the Pooh-themed area. Pooh's Hunny Hunt, a similar version to its Tokyo Disneyland original, serves as the main attraction. The ride exits into Pooh Corner, a gift shop/bakery selling things such as Tigger Tails. Kanga's Kitchen serves as a restaurant in the area. Also here is Christopher Robin's Cabin, another Pooh shop.
Next up is an Alice in Wonderland-themed area. Crossing over from the Bavarian Village, you come across the Queen of Hearts Banquet Hall. Next to that is the Wonderland Labyrinth. Across the street from that is Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, a trackless ride where you scurry through Wonderland, passing by the Rabbit Hole, the Caterpillar's Swamp, the Forest, and even the Queen of Hearts' Castle. At the end of the path is Mad Tea Party, with a new colorful design.
Following up are two more areas. The one to the left of the Mad Tea Party that goes to the west bridge is themed to Fantasia. This is where you can watch Mickey's PhilharMagic and buy things at the Musical Market. To the right of the Mad Tea Party is an area themed to Tangled. This involves a recreation of Rapunzel's Tower at the edge of the area. Here, you can go on an original dark ride, A Tangled Tale, which exits into Corona Confections. Maximus's Mangle is a family ride located in the area in a town market. The Snuggly Duckling is at the edge of the land, near the Fantasyland station for the Disneyland Railroad, which departs to Discoveryland.

This was a rather challenging area for me to put together. I had put so many of the ideas usually featured in this area in other parks that I was really restricted. I had to change the map and many other things. I actually ended up re-doing some areas of this. I was originally planning to have Mickey's PhilharMagic be a Toontown attraction in Disney Studios, but with my idea crisis, I chose to put it here instead. I just hope that all of this paid off.

Sounds like a great area. The original rides sound really cool. I wish I could ride them! I think it’s a good idea to have this be the largest area because it’s an area that’s always crowded because it’s so popular among families with little kids. Where does the Brave Little Tailor come from? I just keep thinking of the Brave Little Toaster! Lol.
ReplyDeleteThe Brave Little Tailor was an old cartoon with Mickey Mouse as the title character.
