Hollywood Boulevard
Come in through the gates to find yourself in a recreation of the famous Hollywood Boulevard during the Golden Age of Hollywood. As you walk down the boulevard, you will see many references to famous Hollywood landmarks. At the end of the boulevard, where the Sorcerer's Hat Fountain lies, is where you can embark on you adventures through the world of show business.
When walking through the gates, you find yourself in the main plaza. In the center is the Stars of Hollywood, a gift shop. On the left is the Studio Hall, where you can get help and services. On the right is Hollywood Brown Derby, a recreation of the original restaurant. Two other gift shops are in the plaza: The Darkroom and Movie Magic.
As you go down the street, you will see a recreation of the walk of fame on both sides of the street with stars bearing the names of famous Disney Characters. Also as you go down the street, you will find Mickey's of Hollywood, Sylvester's Steakhouse, Hollywoodland Traders, Animation Station, and Disney Bakery on the left and Walk of Fame Store, Beverly Hills Bites, Hollywood 9, and Anaheim Produce on the right.
At the end of the Boulevard is the Sorcerer's Hat Fountain, the icon of the park. This serves as the hub of the park, and from there are seven bridges. From left to right, you can go over the Muppet bridge (northeast), Mickey bridge (east), Avatar bridge (southeast), Walt Disney bridge (south), Star Wars bridge (southwest), Pixar bridge (west), or Production bridge (northwest.) From around here, fountain shows play throughout the day.

For a Main Street, I knew I wanted something like Disney Hollywood Studios' Hollywood Boulevard. Despite the name and some shops being the same, it is a lot different from that. The Sorcerer's Hat, which was removed from DHS in 2015, is actually the icon of this park. However, rather than a stage, it is a fountain. Mom suggested having Fantasmic on it, but where would you put all of the boats and firework pads and all that stuff used in the show?

This is cool. I’m trying to envision how the fountain would look. Does the water come out the top? Or the bottom? Either way, I’m sure it looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteIt comes out of the bottom.
