Mickey's Toontown

Hiya Pal! Come to a town where things are zany and logic doesn't apply. Welcome to Toontown, where all of your favorite Mickey Mouse characters live. Here, you can explore the wonderful, wacky, and sometime weird world of the Mickey Mouse cartoons.

When you first enter from Hollywood Boulevard, you walk into the town where it's designed to look like a cartoon. On the left is Minnie's House, a place to eat called Mickey's Trailer, and then you can meet Mickey himself at Mickey's House. Other characters meet in the Toontown Park. On the right, you will find Daisy's Diner, Gag Factory, and Toon Cones.
In the center of Toontown is a family ride called Roadster Ride. Next to that is the Gas Station, a gift shop. Surrounding this area is the Toontown Trolley track, which takes guests from one end of Toontown to the other.

On the east side of Towntown is where you can explore some character's houses. Right by the path to Pandora--The World of Avatar is Goofy's Paint'n'Play House, a similar version to the Tokyo Disneyland original. From right to left of that is Donald's Boat and Chip'n'Dale Treehouse. Then, towards the entrance to Muppet Studio is the El Capitoon Theater, where you can ride Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway. The ride exits into the Mouse House.

Wasn't this a crazy area to make? I mean, designing a world where things don't have to make sense to be lived in was kind of a fun thing to do. Plus, this would make it the first time that Toontown has been featured outside of a Disneyland. I was originally going to include Mickey's PhilharMagic, but this worked out without it. I was slightly considering a carnival area for young kids, but I decided to not include it. This whole area is basically for kids anyways.

  1. What a fun area! I never realized there isn’t a Toontown in any other parks besides Disneyland. That’s interesting. I’ve always loved the bright colors and zany design of Toontown, so I’d love to see this! I can’t wait to ride the Runaway Railway in Florida. I’m glad you included it here too.
