Old Los Angeles
Travel back to the days of classic Hollywood in this land. This is based on 1920s Los Angeles when Walt Disney first arrived. This includes several references to his life and LA at the time, including a recreation of Grauman's Chinese Theater (although the theater had not been built yet when he first arrived in 1923.) Here, you can learn more about the man who started it all, as well as recall the times of old Los Angeles.
When you walk in from Hollywood Boulevard, you come across two streets, Buena Vista Street and Hollywood way. Buena Vista tells Walt's Story while Hollywood tells of Los Angeles in the roaring 20's. These two streets are separated by the Partners Statue. As you go down Buena Vista Street, you will find Mortimer Mouse's Music Shop, Steamboat Willie Stop, and Hyperion House on the right and Walt Disney--One Man's Dream on the left, which tells Walt's story.
Further down the street is the Carthay Circle Restaurant on the left, a recreation of the theater where Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs premiered. On the left is Clarabelle's Ice Cream, Disney Bros. Store, and Lilian's Cafe. At the end of the street is the Walter Elias Disney Theater, where the original musical show Disney Forever plays. This is a show that tells the story of how Walt Disney rose to success, starting with his arrival in Los Angeles in 1923 and ending with the opening of Disneyland in 1955.
On Hollywood way, you will find Chaplin's Comedy Shop, Golden Age Grill, and Burbank Bucks. At the end of the street, you will find a recreation of Grauman's Chinese Theater, where Time of Disney Animation is housed. This is an original ride that takes you through the history of Disney animation with Oswald the Lucky Rabbit as your tour guide, but there are a few zany things that happen on the way, including complete immersion in some of your favorite animated Disney films.. The ride exits into Oswald's Lucky Supplies.

I wonder if I did this area right. I did not intend to have this have much to do, but I feel like I made this area boring. However, I do feel like it will be well-received by history buffs who want to trace Walt Disney's history. With that in mind, I will keep it as it is.

I find this area to be fascinating! There is so much that can be learned. For example, I had no idea it took 32 years from the time Walt got his start in LA until Disneyland opened. I love the original ride idea and the fact that we can discover how things came to be. I don’t think this is boring at all.
