Before any of you sea adventures, come through here to set sail. This recreates turn-of-the-century San Francisco, a charming port city on the west coast of California. From here, your ocean-traveling adventures will begin, taking you to exotic places around the world. Here, you can eat, shop, and even stay in the nearby hotel.
When you enter the park, you come in past a globe and then under a curved archway advertising attractions. This archway connects to Disney's West Coast Hotel, which takes up a lot of the southern part of the area. When you come in, you can get help and services at the Town Center, which is located on the far left when you come in. In front of you is the Red Cable Cars, which take you up near the entrance to Treasure Cove. Going up further, you will find a street to your left that includes Pacific Wharf Canning Co., Ghirardelli Station, Set Sail Snacks, Bon Voyage, Teppan Edo, and at the end of the street, Donald's Train Station Store, the largest store in the park. Around that area, you can sign up for SEA Adventures, a park-wide interactive experience where, as a member of the Society of Explorers and Adventurers, you find lost artifacts. On the right side of the street is the theater, where Mickey's World of Adventure plays.

To the right of the entrance, you can find a park behind the theater where Disney characters meet. Bordering the park is William's Dockhouse. Then, near the entrance to French Harbor, you can find Chinatown Restaurant and Foreign Trades.
Up on the dockside, you can find one of four stations to board the Grand Disneysea Streamer Line. This departs to the Marine Life Institute. You can also board rafts to Convict Island, where you can explore Alcatraz Prison. To the left side of these docks towards the entrance to Treasure Cove is Mickey's Docking Bay, where you can meet Mickey Mouse himself.

For this park's entrance, I decided to have a harbor. This would give the feeling that you would be departing off on an awesome adventure, which I want people to feel like when they go to Disneysea. This is just a preview, with nine other exotic and epic ports to visit. This is inspired by a smaller area of the same name in Disney's California Adventure, which only has a few shops and restaurants and that is it. I also chose to have it like Tokyo Disneysea where you have a hotel built into the park to make it feel more like a city.
I love the charm of San Francisco! That was a great choice for the entry. The first time I read this I thought it said you could meet Mickey himself on Convict Island at Alcatraz. 😂😂 Good thing I reread it. I imagined him there dressed as a prisoner. Lol. I’d like to know more about what Mickey’s World of Adventures is.
