Pandora--The World of Avatar

 

Imagine a world beyond belief, where mountains float, fauna lights up at night, and you can ride a banshee and feel it breathing beneath you. Well, this is that place. This is Pandora, an incredible world that has to be seen to be believed. Thanks to Alpha Centauri Expeditions (ACE), you can explore this breathtaking world where nature is powerful.

Walking in from Hollywood Boulevard, you enter the jungle of Pandora with its strange plants. As you keep going, You enter the Valley of Mo'ara, an exploration site. Around here, you can hear Swotu Waya, Na'vi drummers. Going to the left, you will eventually find Colors of Mo'ara, a face paint place. Further down the road is Na'vi River Journey, where you go through a bioluminescent rainforest while searching for the Na'vi Shaman of Songs.
On the other side of the Valley of Mo'ara, you will find two restaurants, Pongu Pongu and Saltu'li Canteen. You can also go on Avatar Flight of Passage, where you go through some Avatar lab as seen in the film before riding a Mountain Banshee over Pandora. The ride exits into Windtraders, which sells Avatar-themed merchandise.

Having a park themed to movies, I decided that it would be good to include Avatar in it. Not just does this serve as a place outside of Disney's Animal Kingdom to feature the area, but it also gives it more of a place to be. Plus, I feel like it would be a good addition. It's a very-acclaimed film and currently the highest-grossing film of all time (something it took back from Avengers: Endgame in 2021.) Plus, it's a very stunning experience and would entertain and wow many. Now, for those of you asking what the big difference is between this one and the original DAK area. Well, everything seems the same, but it's slightly bigger and has paths going into Mickey's Toontown and Old Los Angeles.

    I can’t wait to see this one at DAK. As you know, reading this got me all excited about shoulder banshees and face paints! I think it’s going to be incredible to see this both in the day time and at night! Can’t wait!!

Avengers World

  In the southwestern corner of the park is a world of superheroes. Here, you can embark on adventures with Earth's Mightiest Heroes, and those beyond the rim. All of the universe's most powerful superheroes come together in this one area. Here, you can take in the sights of Wakanda, visit the Avengers' new headquarters, discover a lost sanctum, or come to the Nova Empire's first recruit facility on Earth. When you come in from Amazon Delta, you enter the largest sub-area of the land, which is based off of Wakanda as it is seen in Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War. You can also see a giant panther statue on your left as you enter, which recreates the statue seen in the films. Also on the right is Wakanda Traders. If you walk further into the town, you are immersed in a marketplace. Marine Life Institute

  Based on the sea animal rehabilitation group from Finding Dory, this area explores the world of Nemo and Dory and offers a unique experience to guests. The Marine Life Institute has set up a new facility here at Grand Disneysea to show guests some new research projects they are up to, and for some of them, they invite the guests to be a part of it! Ever wondered what lies in the deep blue sea? Well, now you can see it from a fish's-eye perspective. When you exit out of French Harbor neat the bridge to Mermaid Kingdom, you will find a bunch of shops and restaurants themed to Finding Nemo and Finding Dory characters on the right. This includes Seashell Store, Bruce's Bites, Mr. Ray's Cafe, Big Blue World, Anemone Eats, and Fluke and Rudder's Sea Lion Store. Between Mr. Ray's Cafe and Big Blue World is the Marine Life Institute dock for Grand Disneysea Streamer Line, which will depart to London Docks.
