Tomorrowland
Down in the southwestern corner of the park is a world where science and science fiction meet to create the world of today's tomorrow. Here, you can travel through space, go to a digital universe, fight alongside heroes of all sorts, and many more, all in the same day. This area also features some out-of-this-world entertainment and other things to take you to infinity and beyond!
Entering in from the southwest bridge, you are immersed in an area designed to look like some science fiction story from the 1950's. A garden divides the path in two, surrounded by the bridges of the Peoplemover. On the right is Stitch: Live! a Turtle Talk-style show where kids can ask questions to Stitch. On the left is the longest and largest building in the area. Up in the front area is Buzz Lightyear's Laser Battle, where you join Buzz as he battles the Evil Emperor Zurg and his army of robots. This version of the ride is similar to Buzz Lightyear's Planet Rescue at Shanghai Disneyland. The ride exits into Little Green Men Store. Further down on that side is Starlight Station and Treasure Planet (although the latter is a store with no connection to the 2002 film of the same name.) Nearby a pond is where you can see Star Port, which gives you to opportunity to meet Buzz Lightyear, Stitch, Baymax, and other sci-fi characters. Above that is the station for the Monorail, which transports guests to Disney's World of Wonder.
West from the Monorail station are two snack stands: Mars Candy and Big Dipper Bites. To the building's north, you can ride the Jet-Packs, similar to the Shanghai original, or hop on the Tomorrowland Transit Peoplemover, which transports you on an high tour of Tomorrowland, going inside buildings and seeing the attractions of Buzz Lightyear, Stitch, Big Hero 6, TRON, and some concept art of the attractions, which is located above the Bright Horizons shop and the Astronaut Eats restaurant.
Further towards the west is a ramp where you can descend into an area below. Once down there, you will find Big Hero 6: San Fransokyo Superheroes on the right, where you ride on a cable car and take part in a battle between some villains and the titular hero group. You exit off of the ride through a gift shop, Hiro's Workshop. Also nearby is a family ride, The Happy Ride with Baymax, a similar version to the Tokyo Disneyland original. Then, towards the left, you can go on the park's fastest and longest roller coaster, TRON Lightcycle Power Run, an extended version of the Shanghai original. You exit the ride through Lightcycle Power Co.

This one was a both very fun and very hard to make. I have a lot of sci-fi stories, but I had to chose the best for this one. Discoveryland had already taken a lot, so I basically had to step as far from that as I could when making Tomorrowland. I was thinking of things like WALL-E, but I decided to save that for a later project. Now what I've created was a mix between Shanghai and Tokyo's Tomorrowlands. However, the original ride, Big Hero 6, was all my idea. On a small Minecraft Disneyland, I had built "Big Hero 6 Land," but I was lazy and did not do much. There was a ride called San Fransokyo Superheroes, but it was really just a cable car. However, I decided to spruce this idea up and make it a totally immersive experience where you are fighting alongside the team.

I love the ride from Big hero 6. It sounds totally immersive! So funny. I have a question about the Stitch attractions. He’s such a popular character so I love he’s getting some attention. But does he speak English? I’ve only seen the first Stitch movie and it seems like I remember him not talking since he’s an alien. If that’s the case, how will the attraction like Turtle Talk work? Will he speak English or will he have a translator?
ReplyDeleteStitch speaks some English. Don't you remember, "Ohana Means Family. Family means nobody is left behind or forgotten..........but he's broke?"
