Treasure Cove

Ahoy, mateys! If ye be seekin' adventure, you can find it here in Treasure Cove. In this captured Spanish Caribbean town, you will come face-to-face with many of the seas' most famous pirates. Based off of the blockbuster Pirates of the Caribbean films, you shall be singing a round of "Yo Ho, Yo Ho, A Pirate's Life for Me" in no time.

Entering in from Pacific Wharf, you walk right past a hut where you can buy merchandise called Joshamee Gibbs' Gold. Moving further on, you will find more experiences. On the right is Siren's Revenge, a pirate ship you can explore. On the left is El Fandargo Theater, where Eye of the Storm: Captain Jack's Stunt Spectacular plays. Also in the area is Pintel and Ragetti's Grog to Go, a shack where you can buy food.
As you go up further, you will find Cotton's Precious Plunder, a gift shop, on the left. You will also find the Snackin' Kraken around there. Going on forward, you will fing Shipwreck Shoals, a playground, on the right. On the left, you will find Tia Dalma's Mythic Stuff. Also in the area, you will find Barbossa's Bounty, a restaurant that views the attraction's boats as they pass by. This attraction is further up north, and it is Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for the Sunken Treasure, where you aid Captain Jack Sparrow in retrieving special treasure from Davy Jones. The ride exits into Dead Man's Chest Market.

Near the ride is Pieces of Eight Tavern, a restaurant. Next to that is a dock where you can board the Black Pearl, which will take you to Grand Disneyland's Caribbean Town in Adventureland.

This was fun for me to make, but I faced two big challenges. One was to make it different from the Caribbean area in Adventureland and the other was to make it different from the original Treasure Cove in Shanghai Disneyland. It has most of Shanghai's attractions, but I made it different with different shops and restaurants that reference the films. So I made it different from the Caribbean area in Grand Disneyland's Adventureland in a few ways. First of all, Disneyland has a British colonial village while this place has a Spanish colonial village, similar to the Magic Kingdom's Caribbean plaza. Also, this area is based on the Pirates of the Caribbean film series while Adventureland's Caribbean area is based around just pirates in the 17th and 18th century (although Captain Jack, Captain Barbossa, and Davy Jones make cameo appearances on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride.) Despite the similarities, it would be an honor to show the world something that was originally restricted to China only.

  1. This is such a cool idea! I’d love to see it in real life. The idea of walking around in it makes me think it’d be like walking around as a character in one of the movies. It sounds like a spectacular place!
